Bartłomiej Kownacki

Bartłomiej Kownacki was born in 1978 in Ostróda. In 2005 he graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, obtaining a diploma in the studio of prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak, and a year earlier the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The main area of his artistic activity is painting, but he also creates objects and films. He is a laureate of competitions and festivals, and his works have been presented at several dozen individual and collective exhibitions. Recently, the leader of the rock band Płótno. He currently lives and creates in Warsaw.
