Tomasz Sętowski

Studiował na kierunku artystycznym Wyższej Szkoły Pedagogicznej w Częstochowie, jednak sam twierdzi, że studia dały mu tylko teoretyczne przygotowanie i jest malarskim samoukiem. W 1991 roku został członkiem ZPAP. Po indywidualnym debiucie w kraju (wystawa w BWA, Częstochowa 1994), jego prace zostały włączone do wystawy objazdowej "Surrealiści polscy" prezentowanej w Polsce w latach 1995-1997. W roku 1998 jego twórczością zajęła się nowojorska galeria Stricoff Fine Art Ltd. Artysta reprezentuje popularny nurt tzw. realizmu magicznego.

"Wycieczki w krainę fantazji są dla mnie poszukiwaniem skarbów, którymi chciałbym się podzielić. Umysł jest swoistą fabryką snów uruchamianą na czas tworzenia. Wymyślanie monumentalnych kompozycji jest próbą zaistnienia w świecie wyobraźni, z dala od codzienności."
