Aleksandra Śmietana

She studied sculpture, art therapy, art education and psychology. In 2014, she defended with honors her master's degree in sculpture at the Academy of Special Education. Maria Grzegorzewska in the studio of prof. Maciej Zychowicz. In 2019, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under the supervision of prof. Adam Myjak. In 2015, she received a foreign scholarship at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha en Cuenca in Spain. She has participated in many collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, e.g. in the UK, Spain and Germany. It was awarded in the Figurativas 2019 competition and is part of the permanent collection of the Museu Europeu d'Art Modern in Barcelona. Her work focuses on people, on experiencing and evoking emotions.
