Monika Katarzyna Koprowska
A graduate of Kensington & Chelsea Art College in London in the field of Design Crafts and Harrow School of Media Arts and Design at the University of Westminster in London. Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honors diploma in ceramics under the supervision of prof. Ch. Brown. She also completed post-graduate studies in pedagogy and art therapy at the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź. In addition to his own creative activity, he organizes exhibitions and educational activities in the form of workshops and lectures. She is an active art therapist, conducts therapy through art with people with disabilities. Founder and curator of Galeria Indica Studio in Łódź. He lives and works in Łódź and Warsaw. In her work, she takes up biographical threads related to her place of birth and upbringing. Referring to the Promised Land industry, he often uses natural fibres, porcelain, elements of nature, as well as souvenirs and family artifacts in his installations. He tries to capture the issue of nostalgia using a metaphor. The transience and transience of moments, life, places and objects are particularly close to her. Therefore, through the selection of materials and creation processes, he deals with this difficult topic.
